Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Electronics Technician (Mission Systems) to join our team. This on-site role supports Design and Development of complex systems and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and security standards.

The position requires an AA/AS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience and U.S. citizenship for security clearance eligibility. Expect collaborative work with engineering teams and optional travel for project needs.

Qualifications

• Requires AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school) with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Eng teams with prototype build, testing, and debugging of electronic assemblies.
• Build of various Test Fixtures and Cable Assemblies.
• Review and revise test and engineering documentation.
• Maintain and inventory repair and engineering parts stock.
• Support production test stations.
• Apply advanced electronic theory to solve problems.
