Job summary
Thomson Reuters is hiring an Electrician for our Eagan, Minnesota printing plant on the 3rd shift. The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment, supporting maintenance teams, and collaborating with engineers on installation and plant-wide improvements.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related tech field, with industrial electrical experience and PLC/I-O know-how.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or vocational degree in electrical/electro-mechanical discipline with relevant work experience.
- Alternative: significant industrial electrical controls troubleshooting experience with minimum High School Diploma.
- Maintenance or Journeyman license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, test, or adjust electrical system components of diverse equipment.
- Support Maintenance Technicians in repair, calibration, and adjustment of mechanical systems.
- Partner with engineers/contractors on installation and plant-wide improvements.
- Diagnostics and issue resolution of I/Os, PLCs, and interfaces.
- Develop and verify electrical documentation and wiring diagrams.
