Job summary

Thomson Reuters Foundation is seeking an Electrician for the 2nd shift at our Eagan, Minnesota site. You will provide electrical and mechanical support for manufacturing machinery, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days in role.

2:30p-10:30p shift; eligible for shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package. Your background includes an electrical engineering or related technical degree with industrial experience, plus a journeyman license or equivalent, and PLC/I/O knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with industrial experience.
• Vocational degree in electrical/electro‑mechanical plus relevant experience.
• High School Diploma with significant industrial maintenance experience.
• Maintenance or Journeyman Electrician License is a plus.
• PLC, network I/O and communication fundamentals preferred.
• Experience with industrial production machinery.
• Proficient with electrical test instruments.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, test or adjust electrical system components of equipment, within license scope.
• Support Maintenance Technicians in repair, adjustment, or calibration of mechanical systems and their control apparatus.
• Collaborate with team members, engineers, contractors on installation and maintenance of new equipment and plant layout revisions.
• Perform diagnostics and issue resolution of PLCs and network I/Os and related hardware/software interfaces.
• Develop and verify electrical documentation for equipment, wiring diagrams, procedures and data.
• Follow safety rules and use safety equipment to comply with regulations; attend safety training.
• Complete annual continuing education commensurate with electrical license.
• Complete repairs in a timely manner and follow up with customers.
