Job summary

Reuters in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking an Electrician for the 2nd shift to provide electrical and mechanical support for manufacturing machinery. The role includes diagnostics of PLCs, collaboration with engineers, and developing electrical documentation.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days in role. The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, or a vocational/electro-mechanical diploma with substantial industrial experience, plus a license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
• Vocational degree in electrical or electro-mechanical discipline with relevant work experience.
• High School Diploma with significant relevant work experience in industrial electrical controls.
• Maintenance or Journeyman Electrician license would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, replace, repair, test or adjust electrical system components on industrial equipment.
• Support Maintenance Technicians in repair, adjustment, or calibration of mechanical systems and control apparatus.
• Collaborate on installation and maintenance of new equipment and plant improvements.
• Perform diagnostics and issue resolution of I/Os, PLCs, and related hardware/software interfaces.
