Job summary

Thomson Reuters Foundation in Eagan, Minnesota seeks an Electrician for the 3rd shift to provide electrical and mechanical support for manufacturing machinery. You will work with maintenance technicians on repairs, calibration, and new equipment installations, while ensuring safety compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualified candidates have a degree in electrical engineering or related field, plus relevant industrial experience, with PLC/network I/O familiarity and a high regard for safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant work experience in an industrial setting.
• Vocational degree in electrical or electro‑mechanical discipline with relevant experience, or substantial industrial electrical controls maintenance experience.
• Maintenance/ journeyman license a plus; PLC, network I/O fundamentals emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, replace, repair, test or adjust electrical system components of equipment and devices.
• Support maintenance technicians in repair, adjustment, or calibration of mechanical systems and their control apparatus.
• Collaborate on installation and maintenance of new equipment and plant layout revisions; contribute to plant-wide continuous improvement projects.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with I/Os, PLCs, and related hardware/software interfaces; develop electrical documentation.
