Job summary

Thomson Reuters Corp. in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking an Electrician for the 2nd shift to provide electrical and mechanical support for manufacturing equipment. You will work 2:30 pm–10:30 pm, maintain and repair electrical controls, test devices, and assist with installations and plant layout improvements.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days in role. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or a related vocational/electrical credential with industrial experience

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in an manufacturing setting.
• Journeyman license would be a plus.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, I/O and electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, test, or adjust electrical system components on equipment.
• Support maintenance technicians with mechanical systems and control apparatus.
• Assist with installation, plant layout revisions and continuous improvement projects.
• Diagnose I/Os, PLCs, hardware and software interfaces; document electrical work.
• Follow safety rules and complete required continuing education.
