Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) based in Atlanta, GA with up to 75% travel to regional and national projects. You will perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance tests on electrical power systems up to 500 kV and lead testing programs.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in medium/high voltage testing, deep knowledge of NETA MTS/ATS, and hands-on proficiency with test equipment like Doble, Megger, Omicron, and Dranetz.

Qualifications

• NETA Level III or IV certification in good standing.
• 7+ years hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage.
• Proficiency with NETA MTS/ATS standards and test equipment.
• Ability to read one-line/three-line diagrams and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing up to 500 kV.
• Conduct short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality studies.
• Test and calibrate relays and protective devices.
• Interpret results and author technical reports with recommendations.
