Vertiv (ERS / HVM) in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) to perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV. The role requires up to 75% travel across regional and national projects.

You will analyze test results, write comprehensive reports, mentor technicians, and lead multi-discipline project teams while ensuring NFPA 70E, OSHA, and NETA MTS/ATS compliance.

Qualifications

• Current NETA Level III or IV certification in good standing.
• 7+ years' hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage environments.
• Strong knowledge of NETA MTS/ATS standards and protective relays.
• Ability to interpret one-line/three-line diagrams and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing up to 500kV.
• Conduct short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality studies.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor).
• Document results and produce comprehensive engineering reports.
• Mentor Level I/II technicians in the field; lead project teams.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA safety requirements.
