Vertiv is seeking a Field Engineer – Electrical Testing (NETA Level III/IV) in Atlanta, GA. This full-time role requires up to 75% travel to regional and national projects and offers compensation up to $95/hour plus generous benefits.

You will perform high-voltage testing, support engineering studies, and mentor junior staff while advancing through technical leadership tracks. Ideal candidates hold NETA III/IV, have 7+ years of field testing in LV/MV environments, and can read complex electrical

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical testing experience in medium/high voltage environments.
• NETA Level III or IV certification in good standing.
• Ability to read one-line and three-line diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV.
• Conduct power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analysis.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor).
• Interpret results and write comprehensive engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
