Job summary

RESA Power in New Jersey is seeking a seasoned technical sales professional to grow the electrical testing and maintenance services business. You will originate opportunities, develop new accounts, and present technical-commercial solutions to contractors, EPCs, and facility owners.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to scope work, price proposals, and manage a healthy pipeline. The role requires five years in electrical sales or related fields, familiarity with testing standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in electrical testing, maintenance testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance services.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment and safety standards.
• Ability to review diagrams and specifications to identify service opportunities.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop new accounts, and close sales.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and achieve monthly and annual sales targets in the assigned territory, focusing on electrical testing and maintenance services.
• Prospect and develop new customers through outbound business development, referrals, and account development.
• Build and grow RESA Power’s local electrical testing and services business across multiple facilities.
• Develop relationships with contractors, EPCs, engineering firms, end users, and project owners to identify early testing opportunities.
• Develop cross-sell opportunities involving switchgear, breakers, transformers, engineering, and related power distribution equipment and services.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and scope changes while maintaining margin discipline.
