Vertiv is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) in the Atlanta area. You will perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV, and lead testing initiatives in fast-paced environments.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on HV testing, strong relay knowledge, and travel up to 75%. Compensations up to $95/hour include generous OT, bonuses, and full benefits.”

Qualificações

• NETA Level III/IV certification current
• 7+ years hands-on electrical testing experience
• Expert knowledge of NETA MTS and ATS standards
• Proficiency with test equipment listed (Doble, Megger, Omicron, Dranetz, SKF)
• Strong understanding of protective relay schemes and coordination
• Ability to read one-line, three-line diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 75%

Responsabilidades

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV
• Conduct power system studies (short circuit, coordination, arc flash, power quality)
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor)
• Test insulation resistance, power factor, and contact resistance on transformers and switchgear
• Interpret test results and produce detailed reports with findings/recommendations
• Troubleshoot complex electrical failures under time pressure
• Mentor Level I/II technicians in the field
• Serve as technical lead on multi-discipline projects
• Maintain compliance with NETA MTS/ATS, NFPA 70E, OSHA
