Job summary

ABB in New Berlin, WI, is seeking a Production Test Specialist to support the testing and troubleshooting of electric drive products on site. You will conduct tests and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery while collaborating with Production Leadership to implement lean improvements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with preferred Electronics coursework; associates degree a plus, and experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• 2 years in Production or Electrical Test Environment or related field.
• Familiar with variable frequency drives and test equipment.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Testing: Conduct functional testing of electric drive and control products.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose and repair drive and board failures and retest.
• Operations Improvement: support lean projects to improve quality and cost.
• Production Support: assist launches, lead prototyping and documentation.
• HSE: assist safety plans and updates as needed.
