ABB in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Production Test Associate to support testing and troubleshooting of electric drive and control products during manufacturing. You will follow procedures and scripts to ensure cost, quality and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with production leadership to identify improvements, train staff, support new product launches, and uphold safety standards in a hands-on onsite role.

Formación

• 2+ years in Production or Electrical Test environment or similar field (e.g., Electrical Tester, Manufacturing Assembler with VFDs).
• Solid knowledge of VFDs and related test equipment.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree in Electronics preferred.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, wiring tables, prints, schematics, and manuals.
• Ability to solve problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsabilidades

• Testing: perform functional testing and inspection of electric drive and control products using standard equipment, meeting time, quality, and delivery targets.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose and repair drive, subassembly and circuit board failures; retest to confirm fixes.
• Operations Improvement: work with Production Leadership to implement process improvements, support lean initiatives, and improve material flow.
• Production Support: assist with new product launches and changes; train staff to Workmanship Standards; lead prototyping and documentation.
• Health, Safety & Environment: assist in safety plan execution; update JSAs and ergonomic assessments; participate in ILP activities.
