Job summary

ABB Installation Products, located in New Berlin, WI, seeks an Production Test role to support testing and troubleshooting in the manufacturing process. You will conduct functional testing of electric drive products and follow scripts to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

In this onsite position, you will diagnose failures, retest repairs, and contribute to process improvements with Production Leadership. A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate degree in Electronics is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Production or Electrical Test Environment or relevant field.
• Knowledge of variable frequency drives and related test equipment.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, wiring tables, prints, schematics, and manuals.
• Associates degree in Electronics preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect electric drive and control products to meet time, quality, and cost targets.
• Diagnose and repair drive, subassembly, and circuit board failures identified during testing; retest to confirm fixes.
• Collaborate with Production Leadership to identify and implement process improvements and lean practices.
• Support new product launches and process changes by training staff per Workmanship Standards.
