Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead multiple electrical teams on complex power generation projects in the United States. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and cost control to ensure safe, compliant execution according to NEC and IEEE standards.

You will collaborate with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors, driving quality outcomes and continuous improvement while managing field operations and turnover activities across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction with 3+ years in electrical superintendent roles.
• Experience overseeing electrical install projects in power/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA and safety standards.
• Ability to manage planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop general foremen, foremen, and field staff to build a high-performance team.
• Review and approve labor rates to protect budget integrity and fairness.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and aid contract administration.
• Foster client and on-site staff relationships for collaborative project delivery.
• Lead planning sessions with clients, engineers and stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports and cost updates.
• Review, negotiate, and approve change orders to manage scope and schedule.
• Drive project completion protocols and turnover processes for successful closeout.
• Maintain comprehensive daily records and documentation for compliance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support promotions up to General Foreman.
