Job summary

TIC is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical installation efforts on major power generation projects. You will oversee multiple teams, drive planning, scheduling, and cost management, and ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and safety standards.

The role emphasizes proactive leadership, collaboration with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors, and delivering high-quality results across fossil fuel generation projects within TIC Power.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years construction experience with at least 3 years in a superintendent or leadership role overseeing electrical installation projects in power generation orIndustrial environments.
• Strong initiative and decision-making with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Kiewit's policies, procedures, and project management software.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills for team leadership and project delivery.
• Ability to lead, communicate, and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior superintendents, general foremen, foremen, and field engineers to build a high-performance team.
• Review labor rates to maintain budget integrity and fair compensation.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and proactive issue resolution.
• Build positive client and onsite staff relationships for collaborative environments.
• Lead planning sessions and problem-solving meetings with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports and cost updates for accurate financial insight.
• Aid in change order reviews and negotiations to manage scope and schedule.
