Job summary

TIC is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead multiple teams on power generation projects, ensuring electrical work meets NEC, IEEE and project specifications. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, cost control and safety with clients, engineers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction with 3+ years in a superintendent or leadership role for electrical installs.
• Self-motivated, able to manage complex tasks with minimal supervision and clear decision-making.
• Fast learner of Kiewit/TIC policies, procedures and project management software.
• Strong problem-solving and effective communication to maintain progress.
• Organized, with leadership, safety, negotiation, and contract administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop junior superintendents, foremen and field engineers to build a high-performance team.
• Review and approve labor rates to protect budget integrity and fair compensation.
• Support project management with contract administration and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Foster relationships with clients and onsite staff for collaborative project execution.
• Lead planning sessions with clients, engineers and stakeholders for timely issue resolution.
• Contribute to monthly progress and cost reports for accurate financials.
• Assist in change orders review and negotiation to manage scope and schedule changes.
• Drive project completion protocols and turnover processes for successful closeout.
• Maintain daily records and ensure reporting and compliance requirements.
• Oversee performance evaluations and promotions up to General Foreman.
