Job summary

TIC is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical teams on complex power generation projects. You will guide planning, execution, scheduling, and cost management, ensuring compliance with NEC and IEEE standards while collaborating with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

The role requires a strong leadership presence to drive quality and safety across fossil fuel generation initiatives, with opportunities for travel and professional growth within a global contracting

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience with 3+ years in a superintendent/leadership role overseeing electrical installation projects in power generation or industrial environments.
• Proactive self-starter with initiative and decision-making skills.
• Familiar with Kiewit policies, procedures, and project-management software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to maintain progress and morale.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for diverse teams.
• Robust leadership, safety, negotiation, and contract administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior superintendents, general foremen, foremen, and field engineers to foster a high-performance team.
• Review and approve labor rates to maintain budget integrity and fair compensation.
• Support project management with contract administration and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and onsite staff.
• Lead planning sessions and problem-solving meetings with clients and engineers.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports and cost updates for financial transparency.
• Assist in reviewing, approving, and negotiating change orders.
• Drive development and turnover protocols to ensure successful project closeout and client satisfaction.
• Maintain thorough daily records and reporting documentation.
• Oversee performance evaluations and promotions up to General Foreman.
