Job summary

TIC Power District is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical installation teams on major power generation projects. You will oversee general foremen, foremen, and skilled craft workers, guiding planning, execution, scheduling, and cost management while ensuring NEC and IEEE compliance.

This role requires proactive leadership, strong collaboration with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors, and a commitment to quality and safety across fossil fuel generation

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of construction experience with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Hands-on electrical installation experience in power generation or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA standards.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and manage budgets/schedules.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop junior superintendents, foremen and field engineers.
• Review and approve labor rates to maintain budget integrity.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and proactive issue resolution.
• Build relationships with clients and onsite staff for collaboration.
• Lead planning sessions with clients, engineers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports and cost updates.
• Assist in reviewing and negotiating change orders.
• Drive project completion protocols and turnover processes.
• Maintain comprehensive daily records and reporting documentation.
• Conduct performance evaluations and promotions up to General Foreman.
