Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in the U.S. Southeast region seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead multiple teams on major power generation projects.

You will mentor foremen and craft workers, ensure NEC/IEEE compliance, and drive planning, scheduling, and cost management to deliver safe, high‑quality EPC outcomes. This role requires hands‑on leadership, strong safety practices, and extensive electrical installation experience on industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years construction experience with 3+ years in leadership overseeing electrical install on power/industrial sites.
• Proactive, self-motivated leader capable of supervising complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience with NEC, IEEE, NFPA standards; OSHA regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for diverse teams.
• Journeyman electrician licensure preferred; degree may substitute with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior superintendents and foremen to foster a high‑performance team.
• Review and approve labor rates to maintain budget integrity.
• Support project management with contract administration and subcontractor coordination.
• Build relationships with clients and onsite staff to promote collaboration.
• Lead planning meetings with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports and cost updates.
• Review, approve, and negotiate change orders.
• Develop and implement project completion protocols and turnover.
• Maintain daily records for reporting and compliance.
• Oversee performance evaluations and promotions up to General Foreman.
