Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction on large-scale power generation and industrial projects. You will lead field supervision, coordinate with project teams, ensure safety and quality, and drive project execution from planning through turnover.

The role requires traveling to various project sites across North America, supervising craft workforce, reading drawings, and ensuring schedule adherence while maintaining high safety

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Superintendent or similar on industrial, power generation, or EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation and field execution.
• Experience managing large craft workforces and multiple subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and electrical documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at project locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical construction activities for large-scale projects.
• Direct craft supervision and coordinate daily work plans to meet milestones.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, quality, and scheduling teams.
• Monitor productivity, manpower levels, equipment utilization, and progress.
• Review drawings and work packages to align with project requirements.
• Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing schedule and cost impacts.
• Support workforce development through coaching and training.
• Participate in planning meetings, safety reviews, and project reporting.
• Ensure quality and assist with turnover and commissioning.
