Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field electrical operations on power construction projects in the United States. You will supervise craft workers, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial electrical installations, willingness to relocate, and strong leadership. You will spend time in the field and coordinate with multiple trades to deliver reliable, safe power facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work.
• Candidates not required to have Superintendent experience; foreman or general foreman candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Highly motivated with strong initiative and commitment to safety.
• Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ethics and integrity are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Plan, schedule and execute field operations ensuring compliance with contract specs, electrical codes and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion supporting the project schedule.
• Resolve employee conflicts and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate.
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed, including safety, attendance, and workplace behavior policies.
