Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to supervise industrial electrical installations including underground duct banks, conduit, cable trays and termination work. The role requires field presence to ensure safety, quality and productivity under your responsibility.

In this position, you will relocate as needed to project sites across North America, lead craft teams and coordinate with subcontractors to meet project schedules and specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work.
• Foreman or general foreman experience encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Plan, schedule and execute field operations in compliance with contract specs and electrical code.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion of the project.
• Resolve employee conflicts and scheduling difficulties and inform management as appropriate.
• Ensure company safety, attendance and conduct policies are followed.
