Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on power construction projects. You will oversee industrial electrical installations including underground duct banks, conduit, cable trays, and terminations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity in the field.

The role requires travel/relocation as needed and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork to meet project deadlines and standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work.
Willing to travel and relocate as needed.
Strong supervision and organizational skills.
Commitment to safety and integrity in the workplace.

Responsibilities

Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing the performance of safety, quality and production.
Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications, electrical code requirements and quality procedures for your assigned scope of work.
Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion to support the overall project schedule.
Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate.
Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies.
