Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Sales and Marketing Support professional to help meet regional goals in the Chicago area. The role will involve sales calls, site visits, and effective customer presentations to support revenue targets.

Responsibilities include marketing support, trade show participation, and coordinating with Operations and corporate staff on proposals and literature development. Frequent travel up to 75% with a company-provided vehicle is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer (BSEE/BSME) and no experience.
• Graduate of electrical technical school or equivalent, and five years of similar work.
• High school diploma or equivalent and eight years of similar work.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales support to consistently meet overall area sales goals.
• Make regular sales calls on existing major accounts and establish contact with new accounts.
• Make effective customer presentations, pricing accurate and technically correct.
• Perform marketing support to promote the Company’s image throughout the industry.
• Assist Corporate needs in new service assessments, marketing research and literature development.
