Job summary

Data Power Technology Group (DPT) is seeking an Electrical Sales Engineer to join our outside sales team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building relationships, solving technical challenges, and helping customers identify the right solutions.

You will combine engineering knowledge with consultative selling to support contractors, consulting engineers, facility managers, and owners throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Strong technical aptitude in electrical controls and systems.
• Ability to interpret specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Grow territory sales and gross profit objectives.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
• Build long-term partnerships with contractors, consulting engineers, facility managers, owners, and end users.
• Negotiate contracts and manage customer expectations throughout the sales process.
• Provide technical consultation and application support for electrical and control system solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop engineered solutions and ensure project success.
