Job summary

Eaton's North America Sales division is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer within 50 miles of Houston, TX to support management, outside sales engineers and customers with technical, service, and commercial solutions in the Eaton Electrical Sales Division.

This role focuses on closing orders, providing product knowledge, negotiating pricing, and coordinating with distributors and plants while managing small to medium projects and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year of work experience in a technical or commercial role.
• Experience in the electrical industry or with industrial projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Close orders based on technical and commercial knowledge and market conditions.
• Provide technical product knowledge and pricing for projects and disputes.
• Coordinate with distributors, field sales, and plants to resolve issues and progress orders.
• Project manage small to medium projects as needed and maintain strong customer relationships.
