Job summary

TEAM, Inc. seeks a Heat-Treating Technician with Electrical Resistance experience to independently run PWHT cycles and related heating processes on piping, vessels and weldments. The role covers preparation, monitoring, and documentation of thermal cycles in field and shop settings.

Applicants should have 2–5 years ERHT experience, be comfortable reading weld procedures and drawings, and possess active safety credentials. Travel and extended shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–5 years of hands-on ERHT experience in industrial settings.
• Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, and heat treatment drawings.
• TWIC and site access credentials or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to travel and work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down electrical resistance heating systems.
• Execute PWHT and preheat activities per procedures and codes.
• Install heat treating blankets, insulation, and thermocouples with precision.
• Program and record temperature cycles using digital/analog controls.
• Coordinate with welders, inspectors, and client representatives on site.
• Maintain QA/QC records of heat cycles and equipment logs.
