Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a Heat-Treating Technician – Electrical Resistance to independently execute PWHT using resistance methods. The role covers heating, insulating, monitoring, and documenting cycles on piping, vessels, and welds in field and shop settings.

Preferred candidates have ERHT experience, willingness to travel, and a strong safety mindset. This position offers growth and exposure to a range of thermal processing scopes with Team’s safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience performing electrical resistance heat treating in industrial settings.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and obtain site credentials.
• Ability to read P&IDs and heat treat drawings.
• Willing to travel and work extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown electrical resistance heating systems.
• Perform PWHT and preheat per job procedures and codes.
• Install heat treating blankets, insulation, and thermocouples accurately.
• Program, monitor, and record temperature cycles with control units.
• Troubleshoot equipment, wiring, and temp control issues.
• Coordinate on-site with welders, inspectors, and client reps.
