Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a Heat-Treating Technician – Electrical Resistance with 2–5 years of ERHT experience in industrial settings. The role involves setting up, operating, and documenting PWHT and preheat cycles using electrical resistance methods on piping, vessels, and weldments.

Preference for candidates with induction or combustion heat treating experience. You will work in field and shop environments, coordinating with welders, inspectors, and clients while maintaining QA/QC records and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years experience in electrical resistance heat treating in industrial settings.
• Ability to read weld procedures, P&IDs, and drawings.
• Willingness to travel and work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down electrical resistance heating systems.
• Perform PWHT and preheat activities per procedures and codes.
• Install heat treating blankets, insulation, and thermocouples with precision.
• Program and monitor temperature cycles; document results.
• Coordinate with welders, inspectors, and clients on site.
• Maintain records for QA/QC and client reporting.
• Follow safety rules and train junior technicians.
