Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a Heat-Treating Technician with Electrical Resistance methods to independently execute PWHT and related thermal operations.

The role covers setup, operation, monitoring, and documentation of heat cycles on piping, vessels, and weldments in field and shop environments. Preferred candidates bring experience in induction/combustion heat treating and a strong safety mindset, with willingness to travel and work extended shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years ERHT experience in industrial environments.
• Must obtain TWIC, DISA or other site credentials.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel and work extended shifts, weekends, and varying schedules.
• Familiarity with ASME/API codes and reading P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Operate electrical resistance heating systems and PWHT.
• Install heat treating blankets, insulation, and thermocouples.
• Program, monitor, and record temperature cycles.
• Coordinate with welders, inspectors, and client representatives on site.
• Maintain heat cycle records for QA/QC and client reporting.
• Adhere to safety procedures and site protocols.
