TEAM, Inc. is seeking a Heat-Treating Technician – Electrical Resistance to independently execute heat treatment operations, including PWHT, using electrical resistance methods.

The role covers preparation, application, monitoring, and documentation of heat cycles on piping, vessels, and weldments in field and shop settings. Preferred candidates have experience with induction or combustion heating methods and will collaborate with welders, inspectors, and client representatives while ensuring

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2–5 years of hands-on ERHT experience in industrial environments.

Responsabilités

• Perform setup, operation, and breakdown of electrical resistance heating systems.
• Execute PWHT and preheat activities per procedures and codes.
• Install heat treating blankets, insulation, and thermocouples accurately.
• Program and monitor temperature cycles using controllers and recorders.
• Interpret weld procedures, stress relief specs, and heat treat drawings.
• Troubleshoot equipment and control issues during operations.
• Coordinate on-site with welders, inspectors and client reps.
• Maintain heat cycle documentation for QA/QC and reporting.
