Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a Heat-Treating Technician with Electrical Resistance Methods experience to perform PWHT and controlled heat cycles on piping, vessels, and weldments in field or shop environments.

You will set up, operate, monitor, and document heat cycles, interpret weld procedures, and coordinate with welders and inspectors to ensure safety and quality. Some travel and hands-on mentoring of teammates are expected.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on ERHT in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of ceramic heating pads, controller programming, and insulation layout.
• Familiarity with weld joint preparation and applicable codes (ASME, API).
• Willingness to travel and work in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power, and related settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, operation, and breakdown of electrical resistance heating systems.
• Execute PWHT and preheat activities per job procedures and codes.
• Lay out and install heat treating blankets, insulation, and thermocouples.
• Program, monitor, and record temperature cycles using control units.
