Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a Heat-Treating Technician – Electrical Resistance to independently execute thermal operations, including PWHT using electrical resistance methods, on piping, vessels, and structural weldments.

You will prepare, apply, monitor, and document heat cycles, interpret weld procedures and heat treat drawings, and troubleshoot temperature controls on site or in shop environments. Travel and extended shifts are common, with strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on ERHT experience in industrial environments.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and obtain site credentials (TWIC/DISA).
• Willingness to travel and work extended shifts, weekends, and varying sites.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down electrical resistance heating systems.
• Perform PWHT and preheat activities per procedures and codes.
• Install heat treating blankets, insulation, and thermocouples with precision.
