Team Industrial Services, Inc. seeks a Heat‑Treating Technician – Electrical Resistance to independently run PWHT and related thermal cycles on piping, vessels, and weldments. You will set up heaters, lay out blankets, monitor cycles, and document outcomes in field and shop environments.

Preferred candidates have experience with induction or combustion heat treating and strong familiarity with ASME/API codes, weld procedures, and instrumentation. Travel and extended shifts possible.

Formación

• 2–5 years of hands-on ERHT experience in industrial environments.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
• Strong knowledge of ceramic heating pads, controller programming, thermocouple application, and insulation layout.
• Familiarity with weld joint preparation and applicable codes (ASME, API, etc.).
• Ability to read P&IDs, isometric drawings, and equipment specifications related to heat treatment scopes.
• Willingness to travel and work in Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Power, Municipality, Aerospace, and other settings.
• Willingness and ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative schedules.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
• Strong safety mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Perform set‑up, operation, and breakdown of electrical resistance heating systems.
• Execute PWHT and preheat activities per procedures and codes.
• Lay out and install heat‑treating blankets, insulation, and thermocouples.
• Program, monitor, and record temperature cycles with control units.
• Interpret weld procedures, stress relief specs, and heat‑treat drawings.
• Troubleshoot equipment, wiring, and temperature control issues.
• Provide on‑site coordination with welders, inspectors, and client reps.
• Maintain accurate heat cycle records for QA/QC and reporting.
• Follow safety procedures for electrical equipment and high temperatures.
• Train or mentor assistants and junior technicians.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging and access equipment setup.
