Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Project Manager to drive end-to-end project execution across safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure alignment with contractual requirements and client expectations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of industry experience, a degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, and a background in testing, commissioning or maintenance within power facilities across North America.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience installing, maintaining, testing, or repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Monitor project performance through regular reviews of progress, productivity, and deliverables, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to optimize utilization and maintain project momentum.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of project communication, decisions, and changes.
• Support field personnel by providing direction, removing obstacles, and ensuring clarity of scope and expectations.
• Manage project financial performance, ensuring execution aligns with approved budgets and profitability targets.
• Identify, validate, and initiate change orders for out-of-scope work; coordinate with the sales team for approvals.
• Track and manage cost drivers including labor hours, equipment usage, and subcontractor performance.
• Support forecasting and revenue recognition through accurate project status reporting.
• Coordinate the return of rented vehicles, equipment, and facilities to support project execution with cost control.
• Serve as the liaison for EPS and clients, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively communicate project status, risks, schedules, and deliverables to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and coordination calls as required.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and customer requirements.
