IMEG is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in Ann Arbor, MI to lead design of electrical systems for buildings and mentor junior staff. You will manage project planning, client communication, and collaboration with senior engineers to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient solutions.

The role involves hybrid work, travel up to 15%, and contribution to projects focused on industrial, manufacturing, and MEP disciplines. Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering and a PE license.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Electrical Engineering required
• PE license required
• 5 years of experience in building design consulting (6 preferred)
• Proficient with design techniques and engineering software
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Aufgaben

• Lead electrical design for buildings and create designs, specs, and calculations per code and IMEG standards
• Interact with clients to capture requirements and build relationships
• Manage project planning, budgets, and scheduling to meet deadlines
• Document design decisions and monitor progress (percent complete, fees)
• Provide in-process design reviews and mentor cross-functional teams
