Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Boston, MA, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer to assist with analysis, design, and oversight of electrical systems in buildings. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver engineering solutions and guidance to clients.

You will support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, safety, and multidisciplinary coordination for education projects within an electrical-forward MEP scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in building design consulting.
• Strong design & analysis skills for electrical systems in buildings.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned engineering tasks of low to moderate complexity.
• Assist design and analysis of electrical systems using engineering software.
• Gather project requirements from clients and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project planning, budgeting and scheduling tasks.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Participate in quality control and stay updated on industry trends.
