Job summary

IMEG is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead design efforts and act as project manager or lead engineer for electrical systems in buildings. You will mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations.

You will work with senior engineers on higher-complexity projects, ensure code compliance using AGI, SKM/PTW, REvit and related tools, and stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
• PE license preferred.
• 2 years of experience minimum; 4 preferred in building design consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical systems, producing designs, calculations, and specifications.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and progress reporting.
• Provide in-process design reviews and ensure adherence to IMEG standards and codes.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
