Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design efforts as project manager or lead engineer for moderate to complex electrical-system projects, with limited senior staff support on larger projects.

You will work with engineers and consultants to provide direction, manage budgets, mentor staff, and collaborate across disciplines, advancing high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with healthcare, education, and MEP goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• 7+ years in the building design consulting industry; 8+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical-system design, calculations, and specifications.
• Perform site assessments and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients and staff to ensure on-time delivery.
• Mentor staff and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure safety and code compliance.
• Support project budgets and invoicing.
