Job summary

Dow Sabine Operations seeks an Electrical Production Engineer in Orange, TX. You will optimize and troubleshoot a broad range of electrical equipment, ensuring safe, environmentally sound and productive operations with field responsibilities.

Key tasks include coordinating repairs, developing scopes for motors, transformers and substations, and supporting major generator turn-arounds. 3+ years of experience and a BS in Electrical Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical one-line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems including switch gear and MCCs.
• Coordinate repairs and reliability improvements with operations and maintenance.
• Develop scope, design, and specs for industrial electrical systems (480V–138kV).
• Monitor performance, load flow and anomalies; recommend reliability improvements.
• Support large generators, excitation and protection systems.
• Coordinate projects for new or replacement equipment across engineering and operations.
• Oversee commissioning, startup support, and maintenance of electrical systems.
