Job summary

Dow in Orange, TX, is seeking an Electrical Production Engineer to optimize and troubleshoot a wide range of electrical equipment across 480V to 138kV, working with field teams to ensure safe, environmentally sound, reliable operations.

You will develop scopes and specs, monitor performance, provide technical support for generators and protection systems, and lead small projects to improve reliability while coordinating with operations and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical equipment across 480V to 138kV.
• Provide field support to ensure safe, reliable, and profitable operations.
• Coordinate maintenance and project work with engineering, maintenance, and operations.
• Oversee commissioning and startup of electrical systems.
