Core States Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join the Power Systems team. The role focuses on end-of-life analyses, short circuit coordination, arc flash analyses, and related calculations within a multi-disciplined firm.

You will produce electrical construction documents under guidance from Electrical Engineers/Project Managers, coordinating with Site/Civil, Mechanical, Structural, and Architectural teams. Remote or hybrid work is available across the U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems design, preferably with commercial project experience (retail, pharmaceutical, grocery, industrial, data center).
• PE license is required.
• Revit experience is required.
• AutoCAD and SKM PowerTools is a plus.
• Familiar with equipment such as switchgear, MCCs, generators, VFDs, UPS is a plus.
• Ability to identify practical uses for AI tools to improve team processes and review AI-generated content.

Responsabilidades

• Produce electrical design plans, calculations, reports, and construction documents with limited direction.
• Resolve complex electrical design challenges related to power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, code compliance, constructability, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations.
• Generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Develop and mentor electrical engineering staff through technical guidance, project feedback, and support of professional growth.
• Lead production staff through assigned tasks and review work for accuracy, completeness, coordination, and quality.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role.
