Job summary

Core States Group seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to join the Power Systems team. You will perform end-of-life analyses, short-circuit coordination, arc flash studies, and related calculations on diverse projects, coordinating with a multi-disciplinary group including Site/Civil, Mechanical, Structural, and Architectural engineers.

You will produce electrical design plans, calculations, and construction documents while ensuring client requirements and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• PE license is required.
• Revit proficiency is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SKM PowerTools is a plus.
• Knowledge of switchgear, MCCs, generators, VFDs, UPS is a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve team processes.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design plans, calculations, reports, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary team during design and CD phases.
• Ensure code compliance and adherence to client requirements.
• Lead and mentor electrical staff on projects.
• Perform site feasibility studies and investigations.
• Deliver high-quality, coordinated electrical designs.
