Core States Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Architecture and Engineering team. You will support power systems projects, performing end-of-life analyses, short circuit coordination, arc flash analyses, and related calculations under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will collaborate with site, civil, mechanical, structural, and construction teams to produce electrical design documents that satisfy client requirements and code standards while remaining mindful of

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems design, preferably with commercial project experience.
• PE license required.
• Revit required.
• AutoCAD and SKM PowerTools is a plus.
• Familiar with electrical equipment such as switchgear, MCCs, generators, VFDs, UPS.
• Ability to identify practical uses of company-approved AI tools to improve processes.

Mansioni

• Produce electrical design plans, calculations, reports, and construction documents with limited direction.
• Resolve complex electrical design challenges related to power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, code compliance, constructability, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations.
• Generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Develop and mentor electrical engineering staff through technical guidance, project feedback, and support of professional growth.
• Lead production staff through assigned tasks and review work for accuracy, completeness, coordination, and quality.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role.
