Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for the 1st shift in the ES AMER ARS division. The role involves assembling panelboards and switchboards, wiring, testing, and ensuring quality per drawings and specs.

You will support lean improvements and cross-train across functions. The position offers an hourly rate of $23 with eligibility for a variable incentive program and comprehensive benefits, along with potential overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly related role with hand/power tools or completion of a one-year Technical School diploma.
• No relocation benefit; must reside within 50 miles of the work location.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration-related employment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specifications using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance with specs.
• Wire electrical assemblies using wire strippers and pliers.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages or issues.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Suggest Lean improvements and maintain 5S in the work area.
• Cross-train across functions as needed.
