Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Maryland is seeking a Production Assembler to build and test sub-assemblies and panelboards in electrical control equipment. The hourly rate is $22 and overtime may be available.

You will perform wiring, assemble, inspect, and prepare products for shipment, and participate in Lean 5S while cross-training across departments. Benefits include immediate health coverage and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of assembly experience with hand/power tools.
• Authorized to work in the United States; within 50 miles of the work location.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards per drawings and instructions using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance.
• Use wire strippers and pliers for wiring tasks.
• Maintain progress and communicate part shortages or issues.
• Receive and store material and prepare products for shipment.
• Support Lean 5S initiatives and keep work area organized.
• Cross-train across functions as needed by production.
