Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division in Hayward, CA is seeking a Production Technician (1st Shift) to assemble and test electrical control equipment. Core hours are 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. The position offers $24 per hour and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

You will wire and assemble panelboards/switchboards, inspect products, and use hand/power tools while adhering to quality and safety standards. Overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly related role with the use of hand and/or power tools.
• Residence within 50 miles of the work location; no relocation benefit.
• No immigration sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and switchboards per electrical drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance.
• Use wire strippers and pliers for wiring assemblies.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages or problems.
• Prepare finished products for shipment and support Lean initiatives.
