Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Mechanical Assembler (1st shift) to assemble panelboards and switchboards to customer specs. You will wire, test, and finalize assemblies, using hand and power tools. The role supports Lean initiatives and crosses functions as needed.

The position emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with overtime opportunities and a tight 50-mile relocation radius requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role with the use of hand and/or power tools.
• Completion of a one-year Technical School diploma from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position; reside within 50 miles of the work location.
• Employment sponsorship / visa support is not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specifications based on electrical drawings and work instructions.
• Wire, assemble, fit and mount sub-assemblies and components using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to meet quality standards and codes.
• Maintain workspace per 5S guidelines and participate in Lean initiatives.
• Cross-train across functions to support production demands.
