Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for its ES AMER ARS division. The role involves assembling panelboards/switchboards, wiring, and testing to meet customer specifications.

You will work 6:30AM–2:30PM with potential overtime and a starting hourly rate of $21.00, plus participation in a variable incentive program. Benefits include health and vacation time from day one, paid holidays, bi-weekly pay, and career progression across departments.

Qualifications

• Basic assembly experience with hand or power tools or completion of a one-year technical school diploma.
• Candidate must reside within 50 miles of the work location; relocation not offered.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and switchboards per electrical drawings and work instructions using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specs.
• Wire electrical assemblies per diagrams and power flow requirements.
• Maintain workflow, report shortages, and prepare products for shipment.
• Support Lean initiatives and keep work areas clean and organized per 5S.
